Tal Schierau leads Cisco CX Canada and is responsible for driving best practices across the region, including business outcomes and customer value across industries. Tal has spent his entire 37 year career in customer facing roles building trusted partnerships and customers for life. Tal brings strong experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) business models and customer adoption motions. This includes more than 20 years of experience leading technology sales and service teams. Prior to joining Cisco, Tal was with Bell Mobility as Director of National Sales for the Internet of Things (IoT), where he led IoT and Smart City programs for Bell across Canada. Under his leadership, his team grew IoT revenue by 60 percent. Before that, Tal was the General Manager Customer Success/Head of Americas Enterprise Sales at AppDirect, Vice President of Global Sales at Radialpoint (acquired by AppDirect), as well as project and sales roles at TELUS. He has been a featured speaker at leading industry conferences, such as the Intelligent City Summit, IT Connect, and EPIC. He has also spoken at the Canadian Telecom Summit, Connected Plus, and the Park’s Associates Connections Conferences. Tal has a degree in Engineering from McMaster University and a Telecommunications certificate from Humber College. He’s passionate about fitness, including the completion of extreme competitions Tough Mudder and Ottawa Spartan Super. He is married and blessed with five children in his blended family.
